Jorge Checker brings knowledge and skills to our kitchen with over 26 years experience as a leading Chef and a focus on health foods and nutrition. Jorge brings management to a new level joining our team in Spring 2024.
Toby strives to create a healthier and more inclusive food system through partnerships with local producers. He first got involved in food preparation at The Red Onion, a cafe in Burlington, VT that prided itself in making sandwiches on homemade bread with in-house roasted meats. Toby strives to create a healthier and more inclusive food system through partnerships with local producers. He first got involved in food preparation at The Red Onion, a cafe in Burlington, VT that prided itself in making sandwiches on homemade bread with in-house roasted meats. In Wyoming, Toby further grew his passion for localized food by working at Sweet Hollow Farm based in Victor, ID, and Vertical Harvest, a hydroponic farm based out of Jackson. As a part-time musician, Toby envisions Lunch Counter Cafe as a hub that connects local producers, artists of all mediums, and community via nourishing and thoughtfully sourced food.
